The AgiBot X2 is the full-stack, open-source base model in AgiBot's compact humanoid X-series, developed by Shanghai Zhiyuan Innovation Technology (AgiBot) for embodied-AI research and human-compatible interaction. Standing approximately 1.31 m tall and weighing around 35 kg, the X2 is a half-size, agile bipedal platform built for maneuverability and lifelike motion. Its high-degree-of-freedom bionic body supports expressive upper-body gestures and dynamic lower-body locomotion, and units in this series have been publicly demonstrated walking, running, dancing, and even cycling. AgiBot supplies the AimDK_X2 application and integration framework, which exposes perception, control, and task-level APIs for secondary development by labs and integrators.

With its manageable size, developer-first software stack, and human-scale reach, the X2 base model is well suited to university laboratories, vocational training, and embodied-AI studies covering locomotion, human-robot interaction, and manipulation planning. Its expressive, nimble motion also makes it a strong fit for museums, expos, retail promotions, and edutainment, where a personable robot presence adds value. Third-party coverage additionally points to light service roles such as guidance, reception, and simple patrol rounds in indoor venues. Unlike the X2 Ultra, this base X2 does not include autonomous docking and charging by default.
