The BrainCo Revo 2 Touch (XTR) is the right-hand configuration of BrainCo's tactile-sensing dexterous robotic hand, purpose-built for humanoid robot integration, manipulation research, and industrial R&D. The Revo 2 series centers on a compact, phone-sized form factor of approximately 160 mm × 76 mm at 383 g — light enough to minimize the distal mass that affects gait stability and energy consumption on bipedal humanoid platforms, yet strong enough to achieve approximately 50 N whole-hand grip force and a rated payload of up to 20 kg. This strength-to-weight profile is one of the most capable in its class, enabling handling of tools, containers, and heavier objects while maintaining dexterous, fine-motor control across 11 degrees of freedom at sub-millimeter positional precision.

As the Touch model, the XTR integrates 3D multi-modal tactile sensing at the fingertips capable of detecting pressure, force direction, object hardness, texture, and near-contact proximity simultaneously — the sensory foundation for adaptive grip strategies and delicate contact-rich tasks including cable insertion, cap tightening, and fabric handling. Multi-bus connectivity via RS-485, CAN FD, and EtherCAT over a 9–64 V input range enables straightforward integration with common robot controllers and research software stacks. An included SDK with touch data visualization utilities and adaptive control support gives developers a direct path to closed-loop haptic control and learning-based manipulation policies.
